Late April/Early May we spent 2 weeks with artist Jennifer Zizman exploring visual art and the acrylic medium. Students explored the concept of a self-image. They discussed concepts of inner wealth, and how they can visually represent the image of who they are as a person.
Our Grade 7 students spent the two weeks working collaboratively on building a similar concept for our school community. Instead of using a 2D canvas, our grade 7 teams painted on real objects that also signify our school community (athletic and artistic).
